My primary area of expertise is backend engineering. I work extensively with Laravel and PHP and also build services using Node.js and TypeScript.

Over time, my work has expanded beyond application development into infrastructure, containerization, CI/CD, deployment automation and cloud-oriented engineering.

What I Care About

I care about building software that is understandable, maintainable, testable, observable and practical to operate. Good engineering isn't only about writing code — it means making architectural decisions carefully, documenting important decisions, automating repetitive work and considering how software behaves after it reaches production.

My Engineering Journey

My professional career started with web development and backend engineering. As my responsibilities grew, I became increasingly interested in architecture, deployment, infrastructure and operational reliability.

That progression led me from application-level development toward broader engineering responsibilities involving APIs, databases, containers, CI/CD pipelines, Linux environments and cloud infrastructure.

Today, I enjoy working at the intersection of backend development and DevOps — building applications while also understanding how those applications are deployed, operated and maintained.

AI is part of that intersection now. I use AI coding tools daily in my own workflow, have integrated AI/LLM capabilities into a production application, and am building toward AI application engineering — the layer where backend services, data, infrastructure and AI features meet.
